Matthew Graystone began playing horn in high school and continued playing during his first undergraduate degree in Urban Planning at Toronto Metropolitan University, founding a concert band while there. He went on to complete a Bachelor of Music at the University of Toronto Faculty of Music from 2021-2024, playing in various ensembles including the UofT Symphony Orchestra and freelancing in the Toronto classical music scene. He recently finished the first year of his Master of Teaching from OISE and is currently Principal Horn of the Hart House Orchestra. In his spare time, he leads the UofT Road Racing (bicycle) team.
