Felix Feng is a distinguished bassoonist and educator with extensive orchestral and solo performance experience. A graduate of both the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar in Germany, he holds the prestigious Konzertexamen, the highest performance diploma in the German music education system.
Dr. Feng previously held a position with the China National Centre for the Performing Arts Orchestra, and has served as principal or guest principal bassoonist with leading ensembles including the China Youth Symphony Orchestra, Asian Youth Orchestra, Central Opera House Orchestra, Qingdao Symphony Orchestra, Harbin Symphony Orchestra, and the Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra.
He is a multiple prizewinner, having received First Prize at the International Bassoon Ensemble Competition organized by the International Double Reed Society in Strasbourg, First Prize in the inaugural bassoon solo competition at the Central Conservatory of Music, as well as second and third prizes in chamber and solo performance competitions. He was also awarded the prestigious Mönnig & Adler Scholarship.
Dr. Feng has recorded a bassoon quartet album released by China Record Guangzhou Co., and contributed demonstration recordings for the New Edition of the Central Conservatory of Music Bassoon Exam Syllabus. With a strong foundation in both solo and orchestral performance, and international training across Asia and Europe, Dr. Feng is committed to developing the next generation of bassoonists and woodwind players through high-level, professional instruction.

A distinguished bassoonist with over two decades of experience, Mason (Guangyu) Zhu has established a remarkable career as both a performer and educator. A graduate of the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music (1998)
Mason won the first China Wind Ensemble Competition, marking the start of a successful career. As a prominent member of the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, he served as the Woodwind Section Leader and Deputy Principal Bassoonist, contributing to six EMI recordings that garnered international acclaim.
